We shouldn’t only persevere because there’s hope, sometimes there’s hope because we press on. Sunflowers always face the sun, and still do so during a moody rainy day, when the sun is not visible in the sky, for there’s a glimmer of hope that it will emerge, if only they persevere.
Pursue that “sun” in our hearts, held our heads up high and keep pressing on. It can’t hide behind the clouds forever.
The antiques always remind me of how things have changed… there’s always this kind of nostalgic beauty about them. People grew old, people left, but they stay quietly in some corners in this world, being part of a story that might never be retold.
My prayer is for a burdened heart today. Lord, please stretch your healing hands upon your faithful servants.

Taking a tram, an almost everyday-life activity here in Prague. It really is rather relaxing when you could sit on an empty (or less crowded than it usually is) tram in a rainy moody day, just taking in the beautiful scenery of this old city that passes by.
