Not pray to evade the responsibilities to study, but pray for strength to carry out them.
Not pray for gain without work, but pray that the work will be well worth the gain.
Pray with a thankful heart, because without Him I wouldn’t be here at all.
Pray with a God-honoring heart, and giving all the glory that is to come to Him the Rightful Lord of everything.
Pray while trusting Him to know the desires of my heart, and will gladly bless me if they’re as good as I think they are.
Pray for peace of mind, because He is the God of Peace.
Pray that I will pray with a faithful and expectant heart.
Pray that I do this with the right heart, that is to become useful in serving and to honor Him.
To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ.
Colossians 1:27,28 NIV
Let us stir each other on, to one day be fully mature in Christ.
As I was reading the Word I felt like He was asking me, “Why, my dear, are you so afraid?”
I’m afraid of many things in life. I’m afraid of failures, I’m afraid of rejection, I’m afraid of loneliness, I’m afraid of sufferings, I’m afraid of unreciprocated care… and I was reminded that most of my decisions in life, big and small, were made out of fear. But the Lord says we need not be afraid, because He’s taking care of us. He watches over us 24/7 with His undivided attention and divine love. If God, the Almighty God, is for us, who can be against us? Even if situation is unfavorable, even if we have many reasons to be soaked in tears, we can face the challenges knowing that nothing can ever harm us unless we allow them to, and we will emerge victorious, because God is by our side.
